Calyqen AI™ Terms of Use & Honesty Disclaimer
Version: 2026-09-09 Effective date: August 1, 2026 Last updated: September 9, 2026 Applies to: Calyqen AI™ BETA (web app at calyqen.com) Provided by: Property Sapiens LLC, a Texas limited liability company Address: 16131 Salto Del Agua, San Antonio, TX 78255, USA Contact: propertysapiens@gmail.com, or the Feedback page inside the app
Welcome to Calyqen AI™ ("Calyqen AI," "Calyqen"). Calyqen is owned and operated by Property Sapiens LLC, a Texas limited liability company with its address at 16131 Salto Del Agua, San Antonio, TX 78255, USA. In these terms, "we," "us," and "our" mean Property Sapiens LLC. These terms are an agreement between you and Property Sapiens LLC. By creating an account or using Calyqen, you agree to them. We've written them in plain language, because we actually want you to read them — especially the honesty parts.
BETA NOTICE: Calyqen AI™ is BETA software, offered free while we build it. Features may change, break, or disappear; AI output is a work in progress; and the beta terms in Section 12 apply to everything here.
Eligibility: You must be at least 14 years old to use Calyqen. If you are under 18, you may use Calyqen only with the permission of a parent, guardian, or another adult responsible for you. Calyqen was built by a student and welcomes students — younger job seekers exploring their first internship or job are exactly who Caly wants to help — but an adult who looks out for you should know you're using it.
How we check. When you create an account, we ask your age. If you're 18 or over, that answer is the whole process. If you're under 18, we ask your birth year (and, only when the year alone can't settle it, the month), then ask you to name a parent, guardian, or another adult who looks out for you; we send that person one email so they know and can confirm. What happens next depends on how old you are.
- Older teenagers (16 and 17). You keep full use of Calyqen while we wait. If we haven't heard back after 7 days, your account becomes read-only — everything you've made stays yours to read and download, nothing is deleted — and confirming later restores full use immediately.
- Younger teenagers (14 and 15). Your account waits for that adult's confirmation before it opens. There is no 7-day period: nothing is built and nothing is saved until they say yes, and the moment they do, everything is available. Younger teenagers also do not get job matches — Calyqen does not show them job listings it has gathered from job boards, for the reasons set out in our Privacy Policy. Everything else works the same, including the resume builder, tailoring, applications, interview practice, and the offer reader, and you can track and get help with any job you found yourself.
In both cases, if the adult declines or the email bounces, you can name a different adult once. If you're under the minimum age we don't open the account: what was entered is deleted, and we keep only a one-way hash of the email address so a repeat attempt meets the same answer.
If you are a younger teenager, your account opens up on its own once you're old enough for job matches — you don't have to ask, and nothing you've made changes.
If your guardian closes your account. The adult you named can close the account and delete everything in it, using the private link in the email we sent them. That decision is theirs to make and does not require your agreement. Before anything is deleted we email the address on your account a copy of your work — your resumes as Word files, and one document holding your applications, interviews, and practice feedback. That email is the only copy that will exist afterwards: deletion here is permanent, we keep nothing, we cannot restore it, and there is no undo period. If the email fails to reach you, the deletion still goes ahead. You may create a new Calyqen account afterwards; it starts empty, nothing transfers from the closed one, and while you are under 18 the confirmation step above begins again with an adult.
The short version: Calyqen uses AI to help you find roles, tailor your resume, and track applications. AI can be wrong. Job postings change without notice. Every application you send is yours alone — you are responsible for reviewing it and for its accuracy, and we are responsible to no one — not you, not employers, not anyone else — for what you choose to submit. Calyqen is designed to draft only from information you provide and cited public sources — but generative AI can be wrong, and the final check is always you. We can't promise you interviews or offers, and we're not liable for the outcome of your job search.
1. What Calyqen is (and isn't)
Calyqen is an informational and productivity tool: it organizes your resumes, builds a career profile from them, surfaces job postings that may fit, drafts tailored resume versions for your review, and tracks your applications and deadlines. Calyqen is not:
- an employment agency, recruiter, staffing service, or headhunter;
- a career counselor, resume-writing service, or professional advisor of any kind;
- affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any employer, job board, or government agency (including USAJOBS or any federal agency);
- a verifier of anyone's credentials, experience, or identity;
- a guarantee — of matches, interviews, offers, or employment.
Calyqen does not submit applications for you. You apply directly with employers, on their sites, under their terms. No agency, fiduciary, employment, or joint-venture relationship is created between you and Calyqen.
Offers. Calyqen is not a law firm and does not provide legal services. No attorney-client relationship is created by using Calyqen. The offer reader organizes and restates a document you supply. It does not tell you whether a term is standard, fair, or enforceable, does not interpret legal, tax, immigration, or financial consequences, and does not recommend whether to accept, negotiate, or decline. You are responsible for obtaining professional advice and for every decision you make about an offer.
Dates we work out from your documents. When you give us an offer letter, we pick out dates it mentions — when the offer expires, when the job starts. If we find an expiry date, we may email you as it gets close.
Treat that as a helpful second pair of eyes, not the official record. We read the date from your document, and we can misread it. The date that counts is the one in the letter itself and whatever the employer tells you.
We may also fail to remind you. Email does not always arrive, and a reminder that fails to send is not sent again. Please don't rely on a reminder from us as your only way of remembering a deadline that matters to you.
2. AI-generated content can be wrong
Calyqen's matches, match scores, tailored resume text, suggested answers, and reformatted documents are generated by artificial intelligence (including Anthropic's Claude models). AI-generated content:
- may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date;
- may misjudge how well a role fits you, in either direction;
- may misread a job posting, a resume layout, or a template;
- reflects the information you provided — gaps or errors in your resume flow through to the output.
Job data has the same caveat: postings close early, change, or get reposted, and closing dates shown in Calyqen may lag reality. Always confirm details on the employer's own posting before applying.
3. Accuracy and user review standard — and your responsibilities
Calyqen is designed to ground research and drafts in information you provide and cited public sources. Calyqen provides research summaries, interview coaching, reminders, and editable drafts. AI-generated content may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all information before using or sending it. Calyqen does not represent you, contact employers, submit applications, negotiate offers, or make employment decisions — you independently decide what to say, whom to contact, when to contact them, and whether to apply, accept, negotiate, decline, or withdraw.
Calyqen is designed to encourage truthful applications: suggested lines are grounded in your own resume, posting language is not copied verbatim, and nothing is added without your explicit accept. But we cannot and do not verify anything you tell us or anything you send to an employer. You agree that:
- everything in your career profile, resumes, and applications is content you provide and approve — you are its sole author and solely responsible for it, whatever role Calyqen's AI played in drafting, wording, or formatting it;
- you will review every document before sending it — every tailored line, every answer, every date;
- you will not use Calyqen to misrepresent your experience, education, or qualifications — and if you do, that choice is yours alone: Calyqen is not responsible for false, misleading, exaggerated, or inaccurate statements in anything you create with it or submit to anyone;
- employers verify claims — misrepresentation can cost you an offer or a job after the fact, and any such consequence is between you and the employer;
- federal applications carry legal weight: knowingly making false statements in an application to the U.S. federal government can be a crime (see 18 U.S.C. § 1001) and can permanently affect your eligibility for federal employment. Read every federal form yourself before certifying it.
You also agree that you are responsible for: the accuracy of resumes, profiles, interview notes, compensation figures, and other information you provide; confirming that an interviewer or company profile belongs to the correct person; reviewing citations and verifying research before mentioning it in an interview or email; confirming a recipient's identity and email address; reviewing and approving every generated message before sending it; having a legitimate reason to store and use a recruiter's or interviewer's contact information; complying with employer instructions, applicable laws, and third-party platform terms; not uploading confidential employer information, trade secrets, private communications you lack permission to use, or unnecessary sensitive personal information; not using Calyqen for impersonation, deception, harassment, discrimination, bulk outreach, spam, or fabricated qualifications; and making your own career, compensation, negotiation, and offer decisions.
The balance: you are responsible for facts, verification, decisions, and external actions; Calyqen remains responsible for operating the service according to its stated security, privacy, and product commitments. Nothing in these terms disclaims Calyqen's own obligations to protect the data you store with us, collect only what the service needs, honor deletion and privacy promises, keep accounts isolated and access controlled, use secure transmission and storage, request only minimum Google permissions, and describe the product truthfully. Those commitments live in the Privacy Policy and bind us regardless of this section.
4. No responsibility to employers or any other third party
These terms are an agreement between you and Calyqen only. There are no third-party beneficiaries. In particular:
- Employers, recruiters, schools, background-check services, government agencies, and anyone else who receives or relies on a document a user created with Calyqen do so entirely at their own judgment and risk. Calyqen does not verify, endorse, or stand behind the accuracy of any user's resume, application, or answers, and accepts no duty or liability to any recipient of them.
- Hiring decisions are made solely by employers. Calyqen plays no part in them and is not responsible for any decision to interview, hire, reject, or terminate anyone.
- Any dispute between a job seeker and an employer, job board, or other third party — including disputes about the accuracy of application materials — is strictly between those parties. You release Property Sapiens LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and contractors from all claims, demands, and damages of every kind, known or unknown, arising out of or connected with any such dispute.
5. Job listings, third-party sources, and links
Calyqen does not create job postings. Listings shown in the app are collected from third-party sources — job boards and aggregators (such as Adzuna and The Muse), the U.S. government's USAJOBS service, employers' own career and applicant-tracking sites, and links you add yourself. About those sources, you agree and understand that:
- postings belong to their sources. Each listing remains the property of the board, employer, or agency it came from, is displayed with attribution where a source requires it, and may be removed from Calyqen at any time — including because a source's terms require it or because we stop using that source;
- we do not control or verify third-party listings. Titles, descriptions, salaries, locations, closing dates, and even whether the role still exists are the source's data, not ours. Listings can be inaccurate, expired, reposted, or changed without notice. The employer's own posting is the only authoritative version — confirm it before applying;
- applying happens off Calyqen. When you follow a listing, you leave Calyqen for a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or what happens on them;
- a listing is not an endorsement. Showing a posting — or scoring it as a match — is not a recommendation of the employer, a verification of the employer's legitimacy, or advice to apply. Match scores are our AI's opinion of fit against your profile, nothing more;
- job scams exist, and we cannot catch them all. We do not vet employers or postings. Legitimate employers do not charge you to apply, ask for banking details before hire, or pay salaries in gift cards. Use your judgment, and report anything suspicious through the Feedback page. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from fraudulent or misleading postings originating with third parties;
- job data in Calyqen is for your own job search. Our agreements with listing sources restrict redistribution: you may not scrape, bulk-export, republish, or resell job data obtained through Calyqen.
6. Your Google account and Drive
If you sign in with Google, Calyqen requests per-file Drive access (the drive.file scope). That means Calyqen can only see and manage files it created for you or files you explicitly picked — never the rest of your Drive. Your resume documents live in your Drive, under your control. Two consequences you should know: deleting a Calyqen-created file in Drive also removes it from the app, and revoking Calyqen's access (Google Account → Security → Third-party access) disables Drive features but doesn't delete your Calyqen account. See the Privacy Policy for full details on Google user data.
Some things move to your Drive and leave the app. Parts of what Calyqen creates for you are deliberately temporary here and permanent with you — practice feedback, for instance, is delivered to your Drive (or your inbox) and removed from Calyqen after a set period. The Privacy Policy's "How long we keep it" section is the single description of what and when; we won't restate it here, so the two documents can't drift apart. What matters in these terms is the practical consequence: a file delivered to your Drive is yours, we do not promise to keep a copy after the retention window described there, and anything you want long-term is yours to keep. If you delete it from your Drive, it is gone from our side too.
7. No warranty
Calyqen is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that job data is current or complete, or that AI output (including tailored resumes, match scores, reformatted documents, and suggested answers) is accurate. This is beta software; features may change or break.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Property Sapiens LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost employment opportunities, rejected or unsuccessful applications, rescinded offers, terminations, failed background checks, missed deadlines, reputational harm, lost data, or lost profits, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Calyqen — including reliance on any content it provides or any content you or anyone else created with it — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages;
- our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us to use Calyqen in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the free beta, is $0) or $50, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those places, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Property Sapiens LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and contractors from all claims, demands, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) brought by anyone — including employers, job boards, government agencies, or other third parties — arising from: your violation of these terms; any misrepresentation, inaccuracy, or falsehood in materials you created with Calyqen or submitted to anyone; your applications and dealings with employers; or your misuse of the service.
10. Your account and acceptable use
You must be at least 14 to use Calyqen, and if you are under 18 you may use it only with a parent or guardian's permission (see the Eligibility notice at the top of these terms). Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One account per person, and only for your own genuine job search. Don't misuse the service: no attempting to breach security, no scraping or bulk-downloading job data, no evading rate limits, no using the AI features for purposes unrelated to your own job search, no creating materials for another person's applications, and no uploading resumes or documents that aren't yours to use.
11. Intellectual property and the content you submit
Your resumes and the documents generated from them are yours. The Calyqen name, the Calyqen AI™ mark, Caly the fox (her artwork, name, and character), and the app's design and code are the property of Property Sapiens LLC; don't copy or reuse them without permission. Job postings remain the property of their respective sources.
What counts as your content. Everything you put into Calyqen: resumes and format templates you upload, job postings you paste in, notes about a company or an interviewer, profile or bio text you paste about the people you're meeting, your answers, and anything else you type or import.
You keep it. Submitting content to Calyqen does not transfer ownership of it to us. It stays yours.
What you're telling us when you submit it. You represent that you have the right to submit each piece of content — that it is yours or you have permission to use it, that submitting it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trade-secret, privacy, or other rights, and that it doesn't breach a confidentiality obligation you owe someone (an employer's internal documents, for example, or a posting shared with you in confidence).
The permission you give us, and its limits. So that the product can work, you grant Property Sapiens LLC a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, adapt, and display your content — solely to provide the service to you. In practice that means storing it in your account, sending the relevant parts to our AI provider to generate the output you asked for, and saving documents to your Google Drive at your direction. It is not a general content licence: we do not use your content to train AI models, do not publish it, do not sell or sub-licence it to anyone, and do not use it to serve anyone but you. The licence lasts only as long as we hold the content — delete the content or your account and it ends, apart from routine backups that rotate out on their normal cycle.
Content you had no right to submit. The indemnity in Section 9 covers this: if someone brings a claim because of content you submitted without the right to submit it, that claim is yours to answer.
Reporting content that infringes your rights. If you own rights in material you believe a Calyqen user has stored or used in the app without permission, write to our designated agent at propertysapiens@gmail.com, or by post to Property Sapiens LLC at the address in Section 16. So we can act on it, please include:
- your signature (electronic is fine) as the rights-holder or someone authorised to act for them;
- identification of the work you say is infringed;
- identification of the material in Calyqen you say infringes it, with enough detail for us to find it;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them.
We will review notices promptly and remove or disable access to material where the notice is valid. If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice to the same address and we will pass it to the complaining party.
Repeat infringers. We may terminate the account of any user who infringes others' rights repeatedly, and we will do so in appropriate circumstances.
12. Beta terms
Calyqen AI™ is a free BETA. That status shapes everything about the service:
- Free of charge, no service commitment. During the beta there are no fees, and equally no service-level commitments: no promised uptime, no guaranteed response times, no commitment that any feature will remain available.
- Everything can change. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features (or the whole service) at any time, with or without notice, and may set or change usage limits (such as daily AI actions).
- Accounts. We may suspend or terminate beta accounts at our discretion, including for misuse or extended inactivity.
- Data during the beta. Bugs happen in pre-release software. We take care with your data (see the Privacy Policy), but you should keep your own copies of anything important — your resume documents are already in your own Google Drive, which is exactly why we put them there.
- When the beta ends. Pricing, plans, or new terms may be introduced. We'll email the address on your account before any of that affects you, and you can export or delete your data at any time before deciding.
Your data rights are described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. Sections 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, and 13 survive any termination of your account or of the service.
13. Donations and support
Calyqen may invite voluntary contributions to help cover its running costs (for example, from the About page). If you choose to contribute:
- a contribution is a voluntary gift to Property Sapiens LLC, made freely and without expectation of return;
- Property Sapiens LLC is a for-profit Texas limited liability company, not a charity or nonprofit — contributions are not tax-deductible as charitable donations;
- a contribution is not a purchase or a fee: it buys no features, no priority, no support commitment, no service level, and no different treatment of your account, and it does not change the beta terms in Section 12;
- contributions are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
14. Changes to these terms
Calyqen changes, and these terms change with it. When they do:
- The current version is always published at calyqen.com/terms, with the version identifier and effective date at the top of the page. That identifier is how we refer to a specific edition of these terms.
- We notify you of material changes before they take effect — by email to the address on your account, or by a notice inside the app — and the notice states the date the new version becomes effective.
- Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using Calyqen and delete your account before that date; deletion is available at any time and takes your data with it.
- Corrections that don't change anyone's rights — typos, broken links, clarified wording — may be made without notice. The version identifier and "last updated" date above still change, so you can always tell that something moved.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas, and you and Property Sapiens LLC each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
